About the Artist
Anna Giovannini holds a Bachelor's in Visual Arts and History of Art and Architecture, with continuing education courses in traditional and digital art, animation and mentorships with industry professionals at LucidPixul and Swatches Academy. She has worked on commissions for a number of private clients and as a comic artist for a number of years after graduation. Published works includes the graphic novel series Mercenarie$ and Anima, published in Brazil by Jambo Editora, the independent title Memento Mori with writer Fran Briggs, and the graphic novel Pet Noir by Debbie Lynn Smith at Kymera Press. She currently works as a free-lance illustrator taking private commissions, specializing in fantasy characters and creatures with a special taste for dragons and fantastical creatures.
Based in the Republic of Ireland, she is also a researcher in Speech and Language Processing at Trinity College Dublin, providing artwork for a number of Irish language learning projects developed by the Phonetics and Speech Laboratory including LARA, Lón don Leon, Míle Glór and An Scéalaí. |
